Alice River Scout Group commenced in 1996 and has grown from nine members under the care of group leader Sandra Carter, to now enjoy a membership of approximately fifty members consisting of Joeys Scouts, Cubs Scouts, Scouts and Venturers.

Through the hard work and dedication of parents and leaders we have a comfortable weather-proof den to hold activities and meetings.

Over the years, scouting has grown into the largest and most successful youth organisation in the world. The Alice River Scout Group is part of the Kennedy Region and continues to have and be part of a very active scouting region.
